Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) Ltd. is the country's first G2G special economic zone, developed in partnership between the Government of Bangladesh (via BEZA) and Japanese entities including Sumitomo Corporation, supported by JICA and Japanese ODA funding.
Overview
BSEZ's mission is to provide world-class infrastructure and services that attract foreign industries, enable export-oriented manufacturing, and boost industrial growth and employment in Bangladesh.
Located in Araihazar, Narayanganj, the zone covers roughly 190 hectares in its first phase, with power, water, telecommunication, flood protection, roads, and a One Stop Service centre built to international standards.
