About the client

Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Muscat, Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC (MHD) is one of Oman's longest-established family-owned conglomerates, with ten commercial divisions across automotive, technology, construction equipment, engineering, healthcare and consumer goods, and more than 1,600 people in 72 locations.

The challenge

Email-based approvals

DSD and other control documents were circulated by email and routed case by case, with no approval matrix, enforced thresholds or consolidated audit trail.

Manual budget control

CERs were not linked to the approved DSD, so keeping cumulative spend within the approved value required manual reconciliation.

Inconsistent petty cash

VAT was calculated by hand, Vendor and GL codes were keyed inconsistently, and receipts were held apart from the claim.

No shared sales pipeline

Leads, calls and emails sat with individual salespeople, so department and division heads had no view of the pipeline or expected revenue.

The results

Management visibility
Leadership sees pending CAPEX and petty cash requests and pipeline value by division, without requesting a report.
Faster decision-making
Requests route automatically by entity, division, department, budget type and amount, removing hand-offs and follow-up calls.
Scalability without code
New entities, approval levels and thresholds are added through master data and Excel upload, with no additional license fees.
Audit and compliance
Every action, delegation, auto-approval and attachment change is logged with user, timestamp and channel.
